EDITING PROCESS:

This are too screenshots of the addition of the credits. I decided to create a san serif font to create a hegemony between the typography used throughout the social media, digipak and music video, reinforcing the idea of branding. Also at the end of the video I added only the direction due to the typical conventions of simplicity that the indie genre has, as the target audience are in search of the meaning behind the video and song, not who created it.

Even though during the filming I made sure to have a warm light, when editing the video I added a orange tint over the videos. the reason to do this was to create a sense of warmth and comfort for the audience while watching the video, to create a bigger sense of identification of the performance.

For my video, I opted to use slow motion to accentuate the impression of warmth and comfort conveyed by the artist's orange hue and quiet acoustic. I had to look into how to include slow motion into the films, but there were several options. The simplest method was to pick speed/duration, which will take you to the screenshot on the left, where you may change the time interpolation from frame sampling to optical flow to produce a more delicate and gentle slow motion.Although while this worked brilliantly and reinforced the concept of emotional fragility throughout the music video, it caused several issues when exporting the film. Several of the segments had a speed of 30%, however when exported, this was much slowed down from the original video, resulting in a lot of blurriness. So I had to go back and alter the speed to above 40% in order to export with excellent quality.

Ultimately, I opted to utilise cross dissolve for most of my images to give a sense of softness when transitioning to the next frame; however, when the shot was in black and white, I used dip to black at the beginning and conclusion. I used this to emphasise the sense of the black and white being a flashback and how those times had already passed.
